So there, I got the job at ___ (left blank in case some ass makes some big issue out of my post) and it started this monday.
first day was intimidating..well imagine scary, slightly stingy female manager who has mood like a rollercoaster and has ability to stare at you from the 10 cameras or so in the branch from her room. (and i have to happen to position myself right under one)

colleagues wise they were quite a satisfactory bunch, so the only scary thing is the manager!! (and.. read on)

so my job is suppose to attend to nearly EVERY customer who walks in the queue and ask if they are exchanging new notes (which happens to be 25% of the perhaps 1000 walkins? [feels like it]) so yea, imaginee. and afterwhich ive to fill in the forms for them.
the challlenge comes after 5 when counters are closed for cash services.
met a few very DISTURBING and hysterical customers just these 4 days like today..we told this woman (VERY very gently and apologetically) that she can't withdraw money anymore cos its 5:20 and she had the cheek to hollowed at us and said nonsenses we didnt care like how her job is in jurong and she has to rush down and its been twice that she cant get into the bank so she Should get in now. what the hell?! didnt she even learn her lesson from the first time she was LATE? so if shes late this time we're supposed to let her in because it happened twice? Please understand the concept of Late = Late and So we are closed = we are closed.
actually id the thought of letting her come in (manager said to exercise flexibility according to customer) but the colleague who was with me said no (so you see my dilemma).
well the annoying thing is not that..not the reason at all. its because she said at the top of her voice that she'll: cancel ALL her 5 accounts immediately and never to step in the bank again in her entire life; ask her children to write letter of complaint; talk to our manager(she wasn't in anyway); put her money at other bank because its not like she has no money and money is everything in singapore; NOT BE FORGIVING US EVEN WHEN WE SAID SORRY; and..lmao, said that in her 60 years of life she hasn't even received a single angpao packet from us (because this other woman happened to ask me for one at the moment and i gave it to her).

Crazy ass bitch!

oh, and shes not the only one. so imagine..

Come save me from walking off a windowsill Or I'll sleep in the rain

says: hi love. i just reached the big 2-0 in life and decided to return to dee blog after an almost 5 months hiatus. prior to being an undergrad, i said life has been treating me quite kindly. but now, bell curves rule my life and its giving me more hell than ever. although sometimes i get sick of being an urbanite facing all these much consumerism and debauchery, im also pretty ironic. so i do yearn for fancy little dresses or that teacake session in the quaint cafe from time to time. at other times, i just want to chill over a good mug of beer (no more ugly liquer shots which almost ruined my life). i guess it all boils down to the mood and the crowd. the safest bet is to put me in your quirky and random list. food and dance is the passion and chilling out is my luxury. did i mention i love people with a good sense of humour? :)
