quote of day:
"but the soya bean looks so..friendly" -sis -.-
arr. why has nearly everybody decided on their route to go but im still stucked here in a dilemma(?) it was overall the poly route that motivated me to study hard for my Os and now that i qualify for the desired courses, it seems that the enthusiasm about the particular course has waned. and..even though im interested in psychology, i cant see counselling as part of my career in the future (after uni, that is). and which dumb psychologist don't do counselling! anyway, ive finally come to the realization that despite being fun, psych and tourism are way overated.
skipping topics, my boss gave me a great lecture today during his treat at a seafood restaurant for his 60th birthday. it was chilling to think how he just shoots questions at you like an interview and you have to crack your brain on what to reply. "Tourism? what are you gonna do there. Dont know?! how can you not know. don't go just because of the name. if you wanna sell tourism, this isnt even the right course for you." "Psychology? well why do you wanna choose that. what do you wanna work with the diploma?". "what was your points for prelims? WHAT. 25! omg! what did you do. didnt you study. how can like that. didnt your mum scold you? no? i would've beat my children up if they had 25 hahahaha".
oh my god its damn freaking scary i tell you. everyone was quiet on the table listening to me quivering to his questions and nod in agreement to his 'words of advice'. anyway, later on he said "what about republic jc?" and i was like"huh what..republic? eh i've never heard of it before..!", him "what? aiyo how can you!". and then some confusing hours later i realize there really isnt even a republic jc LA. -.- everything aside, luckily we still had a scrumptious feast yo. and did i mention he openly stole a lighter from the waitress + tried to teach me how to eat a crab ?!
so..sigh. should i just go jc Arts like what most people have suggested? im having zero confidence of doing full lit, geog and bio (if i'd to choose). JUST OMG, imagine having to spend 6 hours each during exams just writing essays and struggling each day to understand the much difficult prose by shakespear. sis called that my pre pre-u depression. i dont think anybody's going to understand. :/ oh well.
